I hope everyone had a great Christmas/Winter Break/New Years Holiday!! Now that the holidays are over it's time to get back on track with this reunion planning thing. July will be here before we know it!
If anyone has any ideas for the Sunday family fun day at the Fort please leave a comment or send an email (bshs1992reunion@gmail.com). We are definately thinking bounce houses for the little kids are a must. Any other ideas for kids and adults? Any outdoor activiites come to mind? Speak up if you have any ideas, thank you! I'll make sure your ideas get forwarded to the Sunday Fun Day "committee".
As a side note, I believe "save the date" cards are going to be mailed out soon. Most of us know what date the reunion is but there are many who are not on Facebook and we want to cover all of our bases for letting classmates know what is going on with the Reunion.
Happy February!

Will there be any event for Friday evening? Nothing formal, but what about a meet/greet at a local establishment? I attended my husband's 20 yr a couple years ago, and we had a Friday evening at a bar. It was a buy your own drinks, but it was a great low key way for many to get to know each other again, and we were able to sign in for the weekend there as well. The Saturday evening event was a dinner and a bit dressier. The Sunday event was family oriented at Bonner Park where kids could play in the water features and at the park. We were unable to attend that day, but really enjoyed ourselves Friday and Saturday evening.
So my question is if anyone is planning something for Friday evening in Downtown Msla?
Thanks.
The short answer to your question is no, there are not any plans to do a Friday night mixer type event for the reunion. However, there are some classmates who are wanting to, or planning events such as a golf outing or other informal get togethers. These events would be considered separate from the reunion (in terms of cost). As soon as I have information on who might be doing what I will post it here and on Facebook. Thanks for your question!
